Serving the Community in Northwood
Objectives
The organisation's objectives as set out in the trustees latest report are as follows;
To provide opportunities for the local communtiy to engage with organisations and services available to them. We aim to provide a place where this can happen and where local people can take part in community activities and generally feel welcome!
To facilitate establishment of non-profit making / charitable organisations operating in the Kirkby area from a base at the centre. We want to support the development of other small third sector organisations and community groups who offer provision to the people of Northwood. We therefore offer office space and room hire at reduced rates to these groups. See our for more details.
To deliver projects reaching out to the local community and meeting their needs. We want to build the community by getting more people involved in community-focused activities such as a community cafe, pensioners club and carer & toddler group.
